On June 26, 2026，National Center for Translational Medicine (Shanghai) signed the memorandum of understanding(MOU) with Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology, Polish Academy of Sciences, committing to deepen collaboration in cutting-edge biomedical and life sciences research, technology development, and clinical translation.

Mr. TIAN Zhong, Counsellor for Science and Technology at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Poland, attended the signing ceremony. He noted that the collaboration between SJTU and Nencki Institute marks an important milestone in Sino‑Polish scientific research cooperation and lays a solid foundation for deepening bilateral collaboration in translational medicine.

Prof. Agnieszka Dobrzyń, Director of the Nencki Institute, highlighted that National Center for Translational Medicine (Shanghai) is a leading interdisciplinary research institution bridging biology and clinical medicine. “By building a joint Sino‑Polish platform for translational medicine, we aim to accelerate the development of novel technologies and medical solutions that can directly benefit patients.” Prof. Dobrzyń said.

Jiangsu Wuzhong Group Ltd., as an industrial partner, will provide key platforms for industry‑academia‑research translation and commercialization.
